What exactly do I get for £500? You get a full OPTIMUM seven dimension AI Search & Citation Audit covering your AI visibility score, a side by side comparison against your competitors, a prioritised action plan, and a Teams call where I walk you through all of it in plain English. This is exceptionally good value qualified business consultancy.
Why isn’t this free? Because a free report is a PDF with no accountability behind it. You’d still need someone to explain what it means and what to do next, and that conversation tends to be open ended and expensive. This audit caps the cost and includes the explanation as standard.
How is this different from a normal SEO audit? A traditional SEO audit looks at how Google ranks your pages. This audit looks at how AI platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews decide who to cite and recommend. The two overlap but the criteria are not the same, and most SEO audits don’t touch AI citation behaviour at all.
Who is this for? Any SME, brand or business where customers search for what you do before they search for you by name. It works especially well for retail, estate agency, automotive and financial services, but the principle applies to any informational search based business.
What will I actually find out? Whether AI platforms are likely to be citing you or your competitors, why that’s happening, and what specific changes would improve your position. It’s not theory, it’s a direct comparison using your own market and a highly developed qualitative audit engine.
How long does the audit take? The aim is to analyse your business then arrange a Teams meeting in 7 to 10 days.
Do I need to do anything before the call? No major preparation. Your domain name URL and the names of your three most savvy competitors is a help, but not essential. You’ll get the full report and I’ll talk you through the findings and the action plan live on the Teams call, so you can ask questions as they come up.
What happens after the audit? You keep the report and action plan either way. If you want ongoing help implementing it, I offer a retained advisory role, working alongside you with stakeholders if necessary but there’s no obligation to continue.
Do you work with businesses outside the UK? I can consider working with businesses outside of the U.K. but OPTIMUM foundation is grounded in GDPR compliance and in US certain states have their own standards.
Is this a one-off or does AI visibility need ongoing monitoring? AI Overviews and citation patterns shift as models update, so a single audit is a snapshot. Many clients move to a retained arrangement once they see how quickly the picture can change.
Are there any other benefits? OPTIMUM audits regularly surface website and compliance issues that were unknown beforehand, sometimes these are of an urgent nature to remedy, particularly regulatory and where Opt-In is required by law.
